Custom 3D Stamp — Complete Guide

Quick answer

The KingsCutter stamp is a disc with a raised design that is pressed onto dough, fondant, or clay to imprint a picture or text. It is generated in the Designer by selecting Stamp, with a diameter of 20-80 mm and thickness of 2-5 mm. It does not cut the dough, it only imprints the surface. Ideal for decorated cookies and artistic baking.

1

Upload your design

Upload your image to kingscutter.com/app. The system generates an automatic 3D preview.

For texts, it's better to mirror them so they read correctly when stamped.

2

Select Stamp

Choose Stamp in the selector. You'll see parameters: disc diameter, relief thickness, and total height.

3

Adjust the measurements

Diameter 30-50 mm (cookies), 20-30 mm (cupcakes), 50-80 mm (cakes). Disc thickness 3 mm, relief height 1-2 mm.

4

Download and print

PLA or PETG, 0.12-0.2 mm layer (0.12 mm for better detail), 2 walls, 10% infill, no supports. Print relief facing up.

5

Use your stamp

Press firmly. Fondant: dust with flour so it doesn't stick. Dough: press just enough to mark. Clay: moisten the stamp.

Flat stamps work with edible ink like a rubber stamp.

Yes, with edible ink pads for cookies, or regular inks for clay.
Can I make a stamp with my logo?
Yes, logos are very popular. Perfect for bakers who want to mark their creations.
Which filament gives the best detail?
PLA at 0.12 mm layer gives the best detail. For food, use virgin PLA or PETG.
