Multi-piece modular cutter — complete guide
The Modular Cutter splits a complex design into several interlocking pieces. Ideal for large shapes (20+ cm), designs with protruding parts (arms, legs, antennae), or to create cutters that would be fragile as a single piece. Each piece is printed separately and used together on the dough.
Upload your complex design
Upload the image to kingscutter.com/app. If the design has protruding parts, very fine details, or is very large, the Modular Cutter automatically divides it into sections.
Select Modular Cutter
Choose Modular Cutter. The system analyzes the design and suggests optimal split points. You can manually adjust where the pieces are divided.
Review the pieces
Each piece has interlocking connectors. The pieces are printed individually and placed on the dough to form the complete design. Up to 6 pieces per design.
Download and print
Each piece is a separate STL. PETG, 0.2 mm, 3 walls, 15% infill. Small pieces print quickly and without supports.
Assemble and cut
Place all pieces on the rolled-out dough to form the complete design. Press each piece. Remove excess dough piece by piece. The result is a cookie with the complete design without visible seam lines.
