Filled Cookie Kit — Complete Guide

Quick answer

The Filled Cookie Kit includes two cutters that fit together: an outer one (the cookie shape) and an inner one (the filling cavity). Perfect for cookies with jam, Nutella, dulce de leche, chocolate, or caramel. The inner cutter creates a cavity in the dough for the filling, and the outer one seals the edge.

1

Upload your design

Upload the image to kingscutter.com/app. The system automatically generates the outer cutter (full shape) and the inner cutter (filling cavity).

2

Select Filled Cookie Kit

Choose Filled Cookie Kit from the selector. You'll see both cutters in the 3D preview: the large one (outer) and the small one (inner).

3

Adjust measurements

Outer size: 6-12 cm. Spacing between cutters: 8-12 mm (the thickness of the cookie edge). Height: 20-25 mm standard.

4

Download and print

Two separate STL files: outer and inner. PETG, 0.2 mm layer, 3 walls, 15% infill for both.

5

Prepare filled cookies

Cut the outer shape into the dough. Then use the inner cutter to make the cavity in half of the cookies. Bake the bases (without cavity) and the tops (with cavity). When you join them with filling in between, the cavity gets filled with jam, dulce de leche, or Nutella.

Quick tips
Berry jam is the most popular filling for filled cookies.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over the filled cookies for a professional presentation.
If the filling is too runny, add a little cornstarch to thicken it.

Frequently asked questions

Which fillings work best?
Jam, dulce de leche, Nutella, melted chocolate, caramel, or pastry cream. The cavity prevents the filling from spilling during baking.
Do you bake with the filling inside?
No. Bake the bases and tops separately. Once cooled, place the filling in the cavity of the top and join both cookies.
Does the cookie break when bitten?
With the right wall thickness (8-12 mm), the edge stays firm but bites well.
